In the Summer 2019 Issue of Toyota Cruisers & Trucks, we showed off two new mountain bike racks from Kuat. After that issue published we had the opportunity to test the racks on a couple of trips around Colorado, as well as a long-haul trip to Lake Powell, AZ.

Insulated pints/tumblers are currently one of the top buys in the outdoor community, and for good reason. They usually come with a leak-resistant top so they’re great for on the go or around the campfire. Most versions are rated to hold the heat (or cold) for many, many, hours.
We've seen solar panels, battery packs, and kits in all shapes, sizes, and prices.
Usually the completly contained units are not large enough to power more than your phone, or they're too cumbersome to truly be considered 'portable'.

Exploring your local ski mountain doesn't have to be a major production. Of course we all love the epic family ski vacation (See Whistler 2012 or Vail 2017), however one of the best reasons to live in a 'Snow State' is the day trip.
While we all love the availability and inventory of the big 'go-to' gear shops (REI, Dicks, etc), it's nice to support a more "Local" effort when possible.
Gear Junkie has a great list of the top independently run gear shops across the US. While most on the list are in the western half of the country, there are plenty of options across our great land.
