Grand Highlander is a car from Toyota that comes in three different powertrains. the well-balanced 2.4L turbo gas engine for everyday driving, the efficiency-leading 2.5L hybrid with a manufacturer-estimated 34 combined MPG, and the ultimate performance-seeking, 362 horsepower Hybrid MAX.
The Hybrid MAX details haven't been announced, but will likely be a flavor of the the setup we see in the Toyota Crown defeat. In this version, the placement of the electric motor between the engine and transmission allows for power to be transferred without any lag. This setup will also allow the all new 2024 Grand Highlander to tow up to 5,000lb.
It is the second vehicle to wear the "Beyond Zero" badge and can be a hybrid or electric. It is very efficient and helps keep the environment clean.
It is designed with creature comforts and added versatility, including 13 cup holders and seven USB-C charge ports. It also has Multi-Terrain Select with Three Modes for on and off-road capability. The exterior design is distinctive and beautiful, and the interior is spacious for all three rows. The price and on-sale date of the all-new 2024 Grand Highlander will be announced later this summer.
The upcoming Toyota Grand Highlander will certainly meet the needs of many weekend family explorers. With plenty of power and tech to handle easy to slightly moderate dirt tracks, we're excited to see what it can do!
The 2024 Toyota Grand Highlander made its world premiere hours before the opening day of the Chicago Auto Show to showcase the latest and greatest addition to the successful SUV lineup for Toyota.
